Rolling into the Season: Sponsor Roller Delivered to Charlton Kings & Chedworth Cricket Club

As another cricket season approaches, we’re delighted to have made the final delivery of our Sponsor Roller—and this one comes with a story of true cricketing camaraderie.

Last year, we launched our Sponsor Roller competition, offering clubs across the UK the chance to win free use of a 3ft or 4ft Auto-Roller for two full seasons. After an incredible response and many deserving entries, Charlton Kings Cricket Club was selected as the winner of a 4ft Auto-Roller—but the impact of this sponsorship extends beyond just one club.

Charlton Kings have recently taken on Chedworth Cricket Club in a bid to save it from closure, ensuring that its players still have a place to train and compete. At Auto-Roller, we know that cricket clubs are the heart of their communities, and it’s inspiring to see one club step in to preserve another. By sharing resources and working together, Charlton Kings and Chedworth are helping to safeguard the future of grassroots cricket in their area.

We were thrilled to deliver the 4ft Auto-Roller to the club, knowing that it will play a key role in preparing high-quality wickets over the next two seasons. A well-maintained pitch can make all the difference in a game, and with their new roller, Charlton Kings and Chedworth will be able to keep their surfaces in top condition—whether for intense league matches or friendly fixtures.

This marks the final delivery in our Sponsor Roller campaign, and we couldn’t be happier to see the rollers go to clubs that are passionate about the game.
